Critical Impact Worker Stream
The Critical Impact Worker stream under NTNP focusses on all the foreign individuals having work experience in a semi-skilled or an unskilled job in the northern part of Canada.
Both the eligible employers in Northwest Territories, as well as the critical impact workers, are required to fulfil certain requirements to become eligible to apply for Canadian PR under this stream.

Applicant Requirements
Connection to Northwest Territories
Applicants are required to have been currently working at the job with skill level C or D as listed by NOC, to become eligible to apply for the Critical Impact Worker stream under NTNP. The Applicants are also required to have a minimum of 1 year of experience working in the same occupation as the new job offered in the Northwest Territories.
Job Offer
Applicants are required to have a permanent full-time job offered at the current working position by their current eligible employer in the Northwest Territories.
Language Proficiency
Applicants are required to appear for the language proficiency test in English or French equivalent to CLB level 4, and submit their test scores along with their application.
Level of Education
With no minimum level of education required, all the applicants are required to have any education or any special skill set needed to perform their duties at the job.
Work Experience
Applicants are required to have a minimum work experience of 6 months working in the Northwest Territories at the job with NOC skill level C or D position offered by the same employer who is offering the job.
Settlement Funds
Applicants are required to have an adequate amount of settlement funds for themself as well as their family. $10,000 CAD for the actual applicant and $2,000 additional for every other dependent individual accompanying you.
