Express Entry Stream for Skilled Worker
The Northwest Territories Express Entry provides all the Express Entry Pool skilled workers with an opportunity to apply for the Canadian PR in an accelerated PR application program. Applicants are required to have a valid job offer from an eligible employer in the Northwest Territories.
Both the eligible employers in Northwest Territories, as well as the critical impact workers, are required to fulfil certain requirements to become eligible to apply for Canadian PR under this stream.

Applicant Requirements
Express Entry Requirement
Applicants who have fulfilled all the eligibility criteria for entering the federal Express Entry pool and having qualified one of the three programs mentioned below; make them eligible to apply and submit their application under this stream of NTNP.
Connection to Northwest Territories
Applicants who work in the Northwest Territories are required to testify that they possess the legal status to work inside Canada. In the rarest of the cases, it may happen that the Northwest Territories accepts the application of an applicant residing abroad.
Job Offer
Applicants are required to have a valid full-time job offer from an eligible employer in the Northwest Territories with skill level 0, A, or B as listed by NOC.
Language Proficiency
Applicants are required to appear for the language proficiency test in English or French, and submit their test scores along with their application. All the applicants having a job offer of Skill Level 0 and A, framed by NOC are required to obtain a minimum of CLB level 6 in language proficiency test to become eligible to apply under this stream. All the applicants having a job offer of Skill Level B framed by NOC are required to obtain a minimum of CLB level 5 in language proficiency test to become eligible to apply under this stream.
Level of Education
All the applicants are required to have adequate education or any special skill set needed to perform their duties at the job.
Work Experience
Applicants are required to have a work experience of minimum one-year working full-time where the job you are working at must be similar to the new job being offered to you from an eligible employer in the province.
